Applicants for Ninth Grade are required to do the following:

Take the Cooperative Admission Examination and list Holy Angels as 1st or 2nd choice school.

Be an Angel for the Day

Submit the Ninth Grade Record Form to current school prior to end of 1st marking period
Students who apply after the November Cooperative Admissions testing deadline must contact Holy Angels to set up a testing appointment. The charge for late testing is $50.00. Students who begin this process after January must apply for the waiting pool.
Transfer Applicants must do the following:

Send three recommendations from current teachers (English, Math and one other)

International Applicants
We accept students from all over the world into our 9th and 10th grades. In the recent past we have students attending from Korea, Italy, the Caribbean and Japan. However, Holy Angels does not offer ESL classes. Students applying to transfer from overseas will be required to do the following:
For 10th Grade (applicant must be no older than 15 years as of 9/1/2009):

Take an admissions test at Holy Angels if they have not taken a TOFEL or PSAT. Student must have an advanced proficiency in the English language.

Spend a day at the Academy

Supply transcripts that have been translated and verified.

Students applying to the ninth grade (applicant must be no older than 14 as of 9/1/2009) from overseas will be required to do the following:

Our admissions decision takes into account the living situation of the applicant. Once a Student has been accepted, through the Archdiocese of Newark, the Academy will issue a SEVIS number. Fee for registering in the SEVIS program is $200.
