Education means “enabling persons to reach the fullness of their potential as individuals created in God’s image and assisting them to direct their gifts towards building the earth.” This excerpt from the constitution of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, You Are Sent captures the essence of academic life at Academy of the Holy Angels.
For over a century, our students have pursued academic excellence in order to become the young women God has called them to be. However, the achievements of our students are made even more meaningful by our school philosophy's mandate for them to share their gifts with others.
The college preparatory program at Holy Angels is strong, challenging and intense, requiring serious commitment from each student, but it is delivered in a way that nurtures and supports each student’s intellectual growth. Holy Angels is a community of learners. The collaboration between and among faculty and students produces extraordinary results; results that increase our conviction that "the world can be changed through the transformation of persons." It is with deep faith in the educational mission established by the School Sisters in 1833 that our faculty and staff can proclaim we educate the young women the world needs most.
