Food Truck Festival
April, 2015
The sun was shining beautifully at the Academy of the Holy Angels’ first annual Food Truck & Arts Festival held on Sunday, April 26th. Organized by AHA’s parent organization, Angels in the Arts, the event tapped into the growing popularity of gourmet food trucks and combined good food with great art, all for the benefit of AHA students. Over 1500 guests attended and were treated to performances by AHA’s nationally ranked Dance teams, its Vocal Ensemble and the cast of its spring musical, The Drowsy Chaperone. In addition, guests enjoyed viewing a sampling of paintings, photographs and sketches displayed by AHA’s talented artists. Holy Angels offers an extensive fine and performing arts curriculum and is proud of the regional and national recognition its artists have received in the recent Scholastic Arts & Writing competitions. The proceeds of the Food Truck & Arts Festival event will provide scholarship monies to aspiring artists and will benefit AHA’s arts programs.
