DEMAREST, NJ— Meet students, faculty, department chairpersons and college counselors at Academy of the Holy Angels’ OPEN HOUSE on Sunday, October 4th, 2015 from 11 AM to 3 PM. Prospective parents and students are invited to learn how AHA’s well-integrated curriculum, suited to each student, prepares girls to make that critical leap to become women leaders.

           A  Mini-Open House will take place Monday, November 2nd at 6:30 PM

During the visit, tour the open, airy college-like campus, featuring a state-of-the art Learning Annex, new turf field, functional greenhouse powered by solar panels, and a comprehensive Tech Center with multimedia classrooms and Mac Lab.

Academy of the Holy Angels is a U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence and a National Service Learner School.  For more than 136 years, AHA, sponsored by The School Sisters of Notre Dame, has been preparing young women of all religious backgrounds for college with a rigorous academic program of college-preparatory, honors, high honors and advanced placement courses. Learn about STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, Math), a program rich in the sciences and math, grounded in helping students live responsibly and sustainably. 

According to AHA Principal Jennifer Moran, this single-sex environment offers girls a transformative experience in the arts, athletics, spirituality, service and academics. “The overall achievement of AHA students exceeds the sum of its parts to such a degree that ‘magic’ results.“

- 71 AHA students were honored as AP Scholars

- 92% success rate for AHA students who took the AP exams
