National French Honor Society
Société Honoraire de Français
A chapter of the Société honoraire de français offers several potential benefits to a secondary French program. First, it provides an opportunity to recognize outstanding scholarship in the study of French language through selection for membership, the placement of a special seal on the graduate's diploma, the wearing of a tri-colored cord at graduation, and the right to wear the official emblem/pin of the honor society. Second, the chapter provides a vehicle for focusing activities around French language and literature and also for encouraging member participation in the annual writing contest as well as apply for the annual travel grants. In addition, there is the opportunity for students to experience leadership in serving as officers, directing the initiation ceremony, and/or leading other chapter events.
National Italian Honor Society
La Societa Onoraria Italica
The Italian National Honor Society for High School Students—is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Italian. The purpose of the program is to recognize achievements in Italian as well as to promote a greater understanding and appreciation of Italian culture and civilization.
The AHA Chapter provides an opportunity to recognize outstanding scholarship in the study of Italian language through the wearing of a tri-colored cord at graduation, and the right to wear the official pin of the honor society. The chapter encourages member participation on the Italy Summer Trip. In addition, there is the opportunity for students to experience leadership in serving as officers, directing the initiation ceremony,peer tutoring and/or leading other chapter events
National Latin Honor Society
Societas Latina Honoris
The National Junior Classical League is an organization for middle and high school students in classical courses. NJCL proudly holds the honor of being one of the largest academic youth organizations in the world. There are over 50,000 members in approximately 1,200 chapters, located in almost every state and in several foreign countries. Established in 1936, the organization seeks to promote the study of Latin and Greek, to benefit students and teachers alike, and to impart an understanding of the debt of our own culture to that of classical antiquity.

Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica
The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica (SHH) is an honor society for high school students enrolled in Spanish and/or Portuguese, sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP).The SHH was formally organized as the Spanish National Honor Society in 1953. The name was changed to Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica in 1959.
