Leadership Award
Awarded to a student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership.
The following items must be emailed to Traci Koval, Interim Dean of Students, at tkoval@holyangels.org by: December 1
- A letter of nomination from student’s school principal, guidance counselor, or 8th grade teacher, stating why she should be considered for this award.
- A letter of recommendation from a supervisor from one of the organizations for which the student has done leadership. This letter should be sent to Miss Koval, Interim Dean of Students, at tkoval@holyangels.org. Please have the supervisor include a contact phone number or email for further clarifications if needed.
- Student should compile a list of leadership experiences from grades 6 – 8.
- Student should submit an essay that answers the following questions –
- What have you learned from your leadership experiences?
- In retrospect, what might you do differently?
This essay should be a minumum of one page, double-spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font.
