Shadow Days – We can’t wait to meet you!

All prospective students are required to complete one of the school visit opportunities listed below.  Students who complete their Angel for the Day visit in 7th grade fulfill this requirement early!  Please note that due to the popularity of our Angel for the Day programs, students may only choose one visit date in 7th grade and 8th grade.  Transfer students may visit during the fall or spring months and must be an applicant to request an individual Angel for the Day.

What to Expect

All of our visitors are paired with a sophomore Angel Ambassador who has gone through an extensive application process and training program. Our Ambassadors can talk about a variety of classes and interests and are excited to introduce you to faculty, students and staff! Have a special request?  We will do our best to accommodate you.

Our Shadow Days are a realistic reflection of a “day in the life” of an Angel.  Visitors get to see the daily routines of students just like them and questions are encouraged.

A hot or cold lunch, complete with Chef Russell’s famous AHA cookies, is provided for each guest.  Vegetarian and gluten-free options are always available.  Students with serious food allergies or sensitivities may choose to bring their own lunch or contact Chef Russel directly with questions:

Registration is required for all Shadow Day dates and space is limited. We strongly suggest you plan and register for your visit early.

Angel for the Day Junior – 7th Grade, March - May

Designed with our 7th grade visitors in mind, this mini program from 12pm – 2pm begins with a “meet and greet” and icebreakers for our younger guests to interact with future classmates and learn about AHA together.  Each guest will then be paired with an Angel Ambassador for the remainder of her visit.  Students will dine with our Angels in the Student Commons and round out their visit by attending a class with their Ambassador.  Our teachers are excited to involve visitors in class activities but will also respect individual comfort levels.  Girls who want to jump in and participate are encouraged to raise their hand and go for it!  Angel for the Day Junior fulfills the AHA application requirement. Registration opens in February.

Angel for the Day – 8th Grade Applicants, September - December

Reserved for applicants only, this is an invaluable opportunity for young women to experience Holy Angels by participating in a typical “Day in the Life” of an Angel! Guests arrive at 9:45 and are greeted with a brief overview from the Admissions Team. A sophomore Ambassador is assigned to each visitor for a one to one, personal experience. Eighth graders are encouraged to raise their hands and participate in class discussions, labs and group projects. Lunch is a great time for guests to meet her Ambassador’s friends and learn about a variety of clubs and activities that our students participate in. A registration link to sign up is provided upon submitting an online admissions application. Registration opens in September.

Angel Showcase Day – 8th Grade, September - December

Students who have not had the chance to attend a Sneak Peek or Open House, or who wish to visit before applying to AHA may attend an Angel Showcase Day to experience everything that AHA has to offer. Small groups of visitors will be assigned an Ambassador, attend select classes together, meet with current students and faculty, dine in our Student Commons and attend Community Time where they may participate in a club, activity, or special school-wide gathering.  This option is also great for students who wish to come with a friend or want to meet 8th graders from other towns. Registration opens in September.
