Vocal
Students in the AHA vocal music program have been awarded vocal scholarships to many colleges, and have been accepted into such prestigious music schools such as Manhattan School of Music and The Peabody Conservatory. They have also won the Bergen County Music Educators Vocal Scholarship, and represented AHA at the All-County Music Festival in January of each year.
Vocal Ensemble
This highly selective group performs mainly acappella and is made up of 24-26 students. They perform at both annual concert's but also are involved in musical community activities and sing at the AHA graduation. This past year, they performed at the grand opening of Tiffany and Co. in Paramus, NJ. On Thursday, October 30, 2014 they performed at Carnegie Hall with the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland.

Academy Concert Choir
This vocal group is open to all singers. Proper vocal technique is stressed and correlation between good vocal health and overall well-being is constantly addressed. The repertoire of the Academy Concert Choir incorporates standard choral literature, world, pop, musical theatre, classical, jazz and gospel. This group performs at the Christmas Gala and the Spring Concert. Approximately 15% of the student body participates in choir.
