AHA Freshman Has Nonfiction Piece Published in ‘Scrawl’

Demarest, NJ: Discovering silverfish in the shower may not be pleasant, but Academy of the Holy Angels freshman Natasha Dhanrajani managed to turn the encounter on its ear by seeing the scene as a piece of live art. Scholars Earn Medals, Certificates for Work on French National Exam

Demarest, NJ: Ask “Parlez-vous français?” at the Academy of the Holy Angels, and a number of students will respond. This spring, AHA students who have attained a high level of competence in the French language received multiple medals and certificates for their work on the national exam. Read more»

Oxford University Course Is Expressly Made for AHA Students

Demarest, NJ: An adventurous group of students from the Academy of the Holy Angels recently spent a week at Oxford University’s Pembroke College and immersed themselves in a “bespoke” course: one that was tailor-made for them. Grandparents’ Day: Extending a Tradition of Loving Bonds

Demarest, NJ: Grandparents’ Day remains one of the best-loved of the many traditions observed at the Academy of the Holy Angels. Cresskill Violinist Is Featured Performer at Juilliard

Demarest, NJ: Internationally acclaimed teen violinist Nayoun Kim of Cresskill was a featured performer in the Juilliard Pre-college Symphony’s May 4th concert. She presented Maurice Ravel’s haunting “Tzigane, Rapsodie de Concert,” under Conductor Adam Glaser. Read more»

AHA’s Italian Students Fare Well on National Exam

Demarest, NJ: Several students from the Academy of the Holy Angels demonstrated their growing mastery of the Italian language by earning honors on the national exam. AHA world language teachers Laura Kraytem and Lisa Betti announced the results. Read more»

AHA’s Latin Students Rank among Nation’s Best Scholars

Demarest, NJ: Latin is alive and well at the Academy of the Holy Angels, where 24 scholars have received honors for their performance on the National Latin Exam. Over 139,000 students from across the United States and 20 foreign countries took the National Latin Exam, and AHA’s scholars proved to be among the nation’s best students. Read more»
