AHA Hosts ‘Drive-Thru’ Celebration for the Class of 2025
Demarest, NJ: A special drive-thru celebration allowed members of the Academy of the Holy Angels Class of 2025 to enjoy a warm welcome to the school on a frosty January day. AHA Admissions Director Michèle McGovern and Assistant Director Jennifer Bullis organized the COVID conscious event so future Angels and their families could drive up to the front of the school and leave with greetings and gifts. AHA Students Join Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society
Demarest, NJ: Thirty-nine members of the Academy of the Holy Angels Class of 2021 have been inducted into the Alice Paul Chapter of the Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society. Rho Kappa refers to head and hand, a reminder that knowledge must be accompanied by service. In fact, inductees must demonstrate excellence in social studies and a commitment to serving others. AHA Freshman & Friends Craft Over 400 Masks for Hospital Staff
Demarest, NJ: Prior to the pandemic, few people would have mentioned sewing as a key life-saving skill, but times have changed. Just ask Academy of the Holy Angels freshman Georgette “Gigi” Ochs and her childhood friends, sisters Paloma and Giuliana Di Geronimo, all of whom spent the last year sewing over 400 protective face masks for staff at Lenox Hill Hospital.
