Trips
The world becomes a classroom as Holy Angels' students travel to Europe, Asia, South America and thoroughout the continental US. These trips afford an opportunity for students to practice conversational skills, engage in service missions, or simply be immersed in architecture, art, music and literature.
- AHA Humanities study abroad program in England at Oxford University.
- In recent years, trips sponsored by the World Language department took Angels to Italy, Spain, Greece, Croatia and the Netherlands.
- Students and faculty have taken part in Operation Smile mission trips to Jordan, Phillipines, China, Ethiopia, Ghana, and India.
- Service missions to Puerto Rico, the ninth ward in New Orleans, and locally at the NJ shore & Moonachie to assist with Hurricane Katrina and Sandy rebuilding efforts.
- School Sisters of Notre Dame MAP trip to Arizona and Mexico allows students to gain insight into some of the complex issues facing migrants and challenges surrounding immigration reform.
- Research trip for science students to study water quality in Pennsylvania.
- Model UN students travel annually to Harvard and Rutgers. Some students have attended additional conferences in Hungary and China.
- Art & Humanities students take full advantage of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City
